I can't thank Margaret Woods enough for allowing Becky to come "on holiday" all those years ago and entrusting her with us. She has made the ideal holiday partner.

She arrived at just over a year old and soon settled in as one of the gang.

Becky was one of those dogs where the more you give the more you got back and the love from her just kept coming and coming. Becky was always an athletic dog and loved nothing better in her younger years than running around chasing a ball which, has obviously beeen passed on to her grand daughter Betty. Becky more than proved herself in the show ring, winning numberous places at both open and championship shows including gaining her Crufts qualification.

She had a super litter of 8 puppies to Sh Ch Thornywait McShay At Ritziyn and although she wasn't a "natural mother" she was a good mother and fulfilled her duties. 

She had a temperament second to none and had a very calm and laid back desposition.

Living life to the max Becky was a dog to be truely proud of.

Sadly our time together has come to an end and after a short illness her health rapidly declined.

Despite trying every option her frail body was no longer able to cope so we made one of the hardest and most heartbreaking decisions to ever make when we love them so dearly but when the time comes i always have at the back of my mind what a friend said, 'better a moment too soon than a moment too late'.

She past away peacefully with the love and respect that we have given her all through her life.

There were and still are many tears shed for her and will be for quite some time to come as she will be a very hard act to follow. We will miss seeing her beautiful face every morning and hearing her morning wake up bark 'a-woo-woo-woo' at 6am. Most of all we will miss her kind, gentle and loving nature.

She is now reunited with Gilda and Priya our original Amirene babes.
